Nahkaa

In the Finnish language the word for ‘skin’ is the same as for ‘leather’ - nahka. Behind the shop window of a devoid leather boutique still displaying its original signs, two performers covered in liquid latex stand as mannequins. In the retail industry, the most convenient way to handle a mannequin is to place one hand on the crotch and the other on the breast. During the performance a third performer entered the display window to lift each “mannequin” in this manner. He lifted them out of the shop and into a truck to drive them away.
