The video performance is a fixed frame image of two performers crouched atop the trunk of an uprooted tree in a forest landscape. This work is a response to the overt glorification of the ‘golden age’ in Finnish landscape painting. The performers make sounds that resemble bird song, by playing a flute-like object held against their anus.
